Nebraska Brewing Company Hosts 3rd Annual Great Nebraska Beer Festival
World Class in Every Glass

(Papillion, NE) – Nebraska Brewing Company will host the 3rd Annual Great Nebraska Beer Festival on Saturday August 27, 2011 in
Papillion’s Shadow Lake Towne Center. The festival will run from 1-6 p.m. Attending the festival are breweries representing 14 different
states from California to Florida including nearly every Nebraska Brewery. Brewers, Brewery Owners and representatives from many
participating breweries will be available to interact with festival goers. Over 160 different American Craft beers will be available for craft
beer lovers to enjoy and for the first time in Nebraska beer festival history, breweries not currently distributed in the state will have the
opportunity to attend and share their craft with local enthusiasts. Additionally, educational seminars led by brewers and brewery owners
will be available free of charge, with your ticket, during the festival. Information on all attending breweries and event details can be
found at
www.greatnebraskabeerfest.com.

The day’s events will include an opening ceremony by the Omaha Pipes & Drums. Food will be available for attendees to purchase
throughout the day. Live music will kick off with the Kris Lager Band. Grand Theft Girlfriend will anchor the event from 4-6 p.m.
Two organizations will benefit from this year’s event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild. A portion of
the proceeds will also benefit the Histiocytosis Foundation (
www.histio.org). Histiocytosois is a rare blood disorder affecting 1 in 200,000
children typically diagnosed between the ages of 2 and 9 years old. With no federal funding for a cause or cure, Great Nebraska Beer
Festival is working to raise funds and awareness for children being treated locally.

Tickets are $30 in advance ($35 day of event) and include a tasting glass and unlimited samples throughout the afternoon. Tickets can be
purchased at
www.greatnebraskabeerfest.com or at Nebraska Brewing Company.

Free cab rides home will be sponsored by Hauptman O’Brien law firm. Hotel sponsor Embassy Suites of LaVista and Courtyard by Marriott
